One TT members are welcome and encouraged to contribute to our growth and development in a number of ways. Their contributions fall under 4 Pillars are defined below
Pillar 4 is focused on delivering our vision to the key stakeholders, the public. This is not taken lightly and each initiative follows a 4-phase approach:
- Phase 1 – Research and Assessment
- Phase 2 – Development of the strategic objectives and actions to be executed via our 8-step process
- Phase 3 – Public and stakeholder education, feedback and input
- Phase 4 – Execution, implementation of strategic actions and lobbying for delivery of government policy actions
Work will incorporate:
- A review of the current state of these sectors with benchmarking with international competitors and markets and a detailed analysis of current and future needs
- Review of available underutilized resources, identification of existing challenges and limitations and identification of new development initiatives
- Identification of income-generating and self-sufficiency opportunities and
- Strong engagement with the general public
The strategic objectives and actions developed from these pilot sectors are executable actions and will be reviewed by External Sector Specialists to provide critique, challenge and recommendations to strengthen.
These External Sector Specialists will be independent of the core membership.
