How Do You Join?
STEP 1: Make a connection
Ideally, should be recommended to join by an existing ONE TT team member, but you may also use the Contact Us to submit your request. The requirements of membership include a strong passion for helping the country; non-aligned politically and non-partisan; no history of negative or divisive postings on any media, and a willingness to contribute to a collective effort for national development.
STEP 2: Let’s have a chat
The ONE TT team member who has recommended you to join holds an initial conversation with you. To progress to STEP 3 of membership, prospective members must express a strong desire to join the team after the conversation, and be excited by the opportunity to make a contribution to this work. This is a volunteer-based team, so committing to join is all up to you.
STEP 3: Get the complete picture and decide
Once the prospective member has a strong desire to join, contact details are passed to the ONE TT Membership Committee who will arrange an onboarding session together with a minimum of 2 representatives of the Governance Team. This session will include details on the structure of ONE TT and team processes and the expectations of members, Conflicts of Interest and will encourage questions and clarifications.
STEP 4: All aboard, let’s get to work!
Once the onboarding session is completed and there are no identified barriers to membership including any possible Conflicts of Interest, the prospective member is accepted. You will be required to send a biography and complete a simple placement electronic form to indicate your workgroup or committee preference. You would also be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement. Once these are done the member has now been added to the group chat and email listings as well as the ONE TT Google Doc site.
