Our Purpose

To improve the quality of education that is offered to youth in Trinidad & Tobago, and the outcomes associated with the education process in terms of career and our youth’s quality of life.

Our Objectives

1. To promote public awareness of the need to focus on the non-traditional path (technical vocational)

2. To promote the improvement of existing human and physical resources necessary for the advancement of technical vocational education

3. To promote/highlight careers associated with non-traditional paths

4. To ascertain public opinion on the gaps within the education system

Our Strategic Action Plan

To achieve our objectives, below lists hows we intended plans at a high level:

1. Collect and analyze data through an informal survey to ascertain public opinion on gaps within the education system

2. Other manageable strategies e.g., posting videos/short snippets created on social media of success stories to raise public awareness of the need to focus on the non-traditional path (technical vocational)

3. Establish linkages and partnerships with the various industries/private sectors for discussions on apprenticeship options

4. Lobby for provision of teacher education, human resources and infrastructure to support non-traditional paths and families at risk

5. Pilot project in certain schools
